4, system security and settings:

1、VPS基本管理：
VPS通常以3389远程桌面连接进行管理。并配有web控制面板（VZPP），地址为https://IP:4643（注意这里是https，不是http）。VZPP可对VPS进行重起，关机，备份以及重装等操作。登陆VZPP的IP就是VPS的 IP，默认端口为4643， 如果启动了Windows防火墙但没有设置4643端口例外的话，VZPP登陆页面将无法打开。所以，尽量不要手动修改注册表，以免VPS启动不了。如果你在注册表修改了远程 桌面连接端口，请务必先在防火墙中添加你自定义的端口，再进行重起。万一出现远程连接端口被Windows防火墙屏蔽，请登陆后台，在服务选项中把 Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)服务停掉，即可远程登录。然后到控制面板，打开防火墙，这时会出现中断，再在后台把Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)服务停掉，这时远程连接会自动恢复，请把端口4643设置例外，最后把服务启动。


2、 不要更新Windows：
千万不要在VPS手动更新安装Windows补丁。以免下载安装不兼容的补丁导致出现不可预料的问题。 如：VPS无法启动、系统初始化等。为什么呢？由于我们用的VPS是基于 SWSOFT的Virtuozzo而成的，基于Virtuozzo软件的开发原理（Virtuozzo的版本更新始终是在 Windows更新之后）。VPS系统的Windows补丁由服务器统一进行更新安装，客户不需要担心这个问题。正因 如此，给客户的VPS，“我的电脑->属性->自动更新”这个选项卡是灰色不可用的。因为我们已经设置过了，停止了Windows自动更新服 务。若客户自行手动更新VPS的系统出现问题造成的损失由自己承担。


3、数据安全及备份：
服务器提供双硬盘同步数据。即，当某一硬盘出现问题时，另一硬盘能继续工作，因此用户正常的修改删除等操作所丢失的数据是不能够进行恢复的。客户需要备份 数据可以进入VZPP管理面板手动备份，需要恢复数据的时候在VZPP做恢复操作。建议客户定时在VZPP进行数据备份，对数据高度敏感客户建议通过 FTP下载VPS数据到本地备份，进一步提高数据的安全性。VPS处于运行状态的时，在VZPP进行数据备份时，尽量避免对VPS进行操作，特别注意不能 进行重起或关机操作，以免造成系统崩溃、数据丢失。建议设置VPS在停止状态时进行数据备份，这样时间会比较短，也更安全。


4、系统安全及设置：
VPS不建议安装任何杀毒软件，以免出现系统崩溃。不能安装任何防火墙，如天网，ARP防火墙，会导致系统不能启动。服务器已安装好杀毒软件，提供全盘病 毒监控，为了防止ARP欺骗，并装有ARP防火墙。VPS中建议使用Windows自带防火墙做端口屏蔽。销售于客户使用的VPS，在交付时已经做了相关 的安全设置，安全性比较高，建议不要随便关掉防火墙。如果用需要在VZPP重装系统，请先开启防火墙，并设置常用端口例外，如21（FTP）、80（网站 http）、3389（远程桌面）、4643（VZPP）。建议客户把系统“日志设置”（控制面板-管理工具里）快捷方式到桌面并定时检查。尤其注意“安全性” 防止有黑客入侵建立隐藏帐号。如果发现可疑文件和进程可以下载360安全卫士进行检查。另外，注意 网站文件夹的权限设置， VPS被入侵导致资料及数据被删除，后果自行负责。


5、HTTP服务和FTP服务：
修改IIS的配置文件，务必先把文件备份，然后用能保留文件格式的软件修改，防止配置文件格式被破坏导致IIS无法使用。VPS的WWW服务和IIS的 FTP服务默认是手动开启的，如果是站长请把服务中的最后一个即World Wide Web Publishing Service设置成自动，如果需要经常使用IIS的FTP服务请把FTP Publishing Service服务设成自动，即能实现开机自动启动。如果用FTP服务使用的是Serv-U，请在Serv-U管理里面把“自动开始（系统服务）”打勾。 从安全性和资源消耗方面来说，建议不经常使用FTP的用户不要设成自动，在需要的时候开启。

6、重装系统注意事项：
万一由于配置错误或者被入侵需要重装系统，可以在VZPP自行进行重装系统（一般选择保留原来资料）。如果VZPP也无法登陆，请联系客服。请特别注意， 重装完系统后务必把Windows的防火墙开启，并且例外之前说过的必要端口，否则99%会被入侵，因为重装后的默认系统安全性是非常薄弱的。
